Smart Scoped Assignees & Capacity Telemetry
Assigning tasks across large WordPress installations with hundreds of users can lead to clutter and accidental assignments. WorkFuz solves this through an intelligent Scoped Assignee Engine.
1. Prioritized Project Team Members
Section titled “1. Prioritized Project Team Members”Whenever you open an assignee selector (in task creation, editing, or the quick popover), the list is automatically divided into two sections:
- ⭐ Project Team: Dedicated members assigned to this specific project, plus the project manager, are pinned at the very top for rapid 1-click selection.
- 🌐 Other Members: All other authorized site users are listed below in a searchable checklist.
2. Automatic Project Team Promotion
Section titled “2. Automatic Project Team Promotion”If a manager assigns a user from the “Other Members” section to any task, WorkFuz automatically registers that user as a Project Team Member.
This guarantees that:
- You never have to leave the Kanban board or task list to reconfigure project settings.
- The newly assigned member immediately appears under ⭐ Project Team for all future tasks in that workspace.
3. Real-Time Capacity Pills
Section titled “3. Real-Time Capacity Pills”Next to each member’s name in the assignee picker, WorkFuz displays a color-coded Capacity Pill:
| Pill Color | Status | Allocation Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 🟢 Green | Available | Assigned hours are under 70% of weekly capacity (e.g. 18.0 / 40.0h). |
| 🔵 Blue | Balanced | Assigned hours are between 70% and 99% of weekly capacity (e.g. 34.0 / 40.0h). |
| 🔴 Red | Over Capacity | Assigned hours exceed 100% of weekly capacity (e.g. ⚠️ 46.5 / 40.0h). |
This real-time telemetry accounts for active tasks assigned to the member across all spaces and projects, preventing employee burnout before you click assign.
